Onshore Web Gantry

The HAWART Onshore Web Gantry (WG) is designed for the precise and controlled transfer and placement of rotor blade webs from the Web Floor Station (WFS) to the blade mould. Inside the mould, the Onshore WG is positioned onto dedicated interfaces (either a hydraulic lifting/lowering system, or fixed receivers) according to the nominal web placement. This ensures the webs are held in an ultra-precise position throughout the bonding process, resulting in repeatable, highest quality blades.

Offshore Web Gantry

The HAWART Offshore Web Gantry (WG) is used to transport one or several webs simultaneously from the Web Floor Station (WFS) to the blade mould. Inside the mould, the Offshore WG is positioned onto dedicated interfaces (either a hydraulic lifting/lowering system, or fixed receivers) according to the nominal web placement. This ensures the webs are held in an ultra-precise position throughout the bonding process, resulting in repeatable, highest quality blades. The Offshore WG is capable of handling multiple webs and is designed to bond web segments either off-line in the WFS or directly in-mould using the integrated gantry system.
