Marine & Power Generation Solutions
HAWART designs and manufactures fuel, lubrication, and specialty modules for marine and onshore power station engines, leveraging its expertise in mechanical design, hydraulics, and electrical controls.
Fuel Modules
Our fuel supply modules are designed to meet the demands of modern marine engines and diverse fuel types. Each unit ensures precise control of injection viscosity, temperature and pressure - while reliably filtering the fuel and enabling accurate consumption measurement. Compact, robust and fully integrable, these modules support consistent engine performance and long-term operational efficiency.
Lube Oil Modules
Proper treatment of lubricating oil is essential to reduce wear on rotating engine components. Our lube oil modules filter abrasive particles and stabilize oil temperature, preserving crankshafts, bearings and critical systems. Designed for rugged operation and seamless integration with marine or power systems.
Lube Oil Cooler & Filter Module
- Designed for large diesel engines, this module ensures continuous filtration, precise temperature control and stable oil flow to protect key engine components.
- It combines plate heat exchangers, automatic fine filters and temperature-regulating valves into a compact, fully assembled system - engineered for seamless integration and reliable long-term operation in demanding environments
Lube Oil Replenishing Unit
- This module supplies fresh lubricating oil to diesel engines — either for routine top-ups or complete refills after maintenance and overhaul.
- A dedicated flow meter ensures accurate measurement of the replenished oil volume, capturing only the oil delivered directly to the engine.
- Built for precision, reliability and seamless integration into your engine maintenance workflow.
Specialty Modules
Our fully automated specialty modules handle a wide range of process media, including fresh water, high and low temperature cooling water, sea water as well as sludge and waste liquids. Each unit is designed and manufactured for reliable media control, seamless integration and optimized performance in marine and power generation environments.

Components for Fuel Systems
Our product offering also includes specialized components for fuel treatment — ideal for retrofits, modernizations and new-builds in marine and power generation applications. From design to commissioning, our experienced team ensures each component is seamlessly integrated and precisely adapted to customer specifications.
Fuel Pulsation Damping
- Challenge: Fuel supply systems face extreme, rapid pressure peaks from injection pumps — often exceeding design limits.
- Impact: Pressure surges can surpass component pressure ratings, risking system integrity.
- Solution: The new PAPS-DE 18 series integrates proven damping with advanced measurement and control technology.
- Function: Pressure pulses enter the chamber from below, are absorbed by an encapsulated air cushion and reflected pressure is minimized.
Automatic HFO/MGO change over control
According to IMO regulations and national regulations, seagoing vessels have to operate with low sulphur fuels in the designated Sulphur Emission Control Areas (SECA). Onboard fuel oil systems must therefore be adapted to ensure the protection of fuel injection components.
- Moderate, mild and safe change over control
- Temperature controlled or time controlled (free adjustable intervals)
- No temperature shocks to the injection elements
- Independent from service tank levels
- Local and/or ECR controlled
- Easy expandable, simple retrofit
- Options: Data recording (data logger)
Fuel oil sample valve
According to IMO guidelines for onboard sampling – MEPC.1/Circ.864/Rev.1 under the provision of MARPOL ANNEX VI.
- Conformity with class requirements
- Size range: DN 10 to DN 80
- Connections: Flange type according to EN1092 and DIN 2501
- Pressures: PN 16
- Temperature: 150 °C max.
- Easy expandable, simple retrofit
Simple installation, no welding Remove – install – ready
Fuel consumption measuring
- Modification of the fuel measuring system can save fuel.
- Coriolis flow meters measure main and auxiliary engine fuel use (kg/h).
- Values will be calculated in connection with the ship’s position (GPS). The actual consumption will be indicated on displays on the bridge and in the engine control room.
- Real-time bridge and control room displays show immediate effects of engine power and trim changes on fuel consumption.
